Prepare for whistler to be the priciest of all the options, and the one with the longest wait list to book for your date, you may need to book up to 2 years in advance if you have a specific date preference, and a lot of guests wanting to stay at the same lodging as you.
Decide whether you want this to be a winter elopement or a summer one, as winter will be higher priced, with the bonus of being able to ski and snowboard with all your best mates and family members, plus the extra accomodations. The other added bonus is the venue is so close to vancouver, for those vancouverite guests they can easily safely drive home at the end of the wedding night.
Vancouver Island (Tofino and Victoria)
Tofino, with its rugged coastlines and beaches, is a favorite for boho, laid back wanderlusting adventure couples, like Vanlifers, or nomads, expats, and surfers, snowboarders, and the hippies alike. A bohemian gypsy paradise.
If you are seeking a unique and intimate elopement experience, get the best of both nature, the beach, the island slow life, and the nice surf, Additionally, Victoria, the capital city of BC, offers a blend of historic charm and coastal beauty. A picturesque backdrop straight out of a vogue magazine, if you love that timeless black and white modern elegance against a white victorian palace like streets and architecture. Very similar to the likes of Fremantle, south Perth in Australia. I have a few photos and blogs with many images featured! I have yet to capture a wedding here however, and would be delighted to capture my Canadian Victorian Architecture in my elopement weddings!

Banff National Park
A Love that will journey through the alpine wonderland of Banff, envision a love story written in the Rockies—where turquoise lakes reflect the commitment exchanged, where wildflowers witness the promises made, and where the mountains stand as eternal guardians of the union. Banff's summer serenade is an invitation to embark on a timeless adventure—a celebration of love in nature's most enchanting embrace.
Check this blog post on eloping in Banff in the summer versus during the winter.
While Banff is primarily in Alberta, it's close to the BC border and draws couples with its stunning mountainous landscapes, turquoise lakes, and charming alpine villages.
Check this blog post for Summer escaping in Banff for your vows.
AND, to get you started on how to elope easily in Banff, simply follow the blog post on How to legally elope, so you know you can do all the steps right to eloping in Banff. Dont forget to get a park pass, and permit to capture your elopement in the park, you can often arrange this in advance so you dont waste your money on a photographer if they do not accept the proposal to have your wedding photos there. Chances are they will accept, but there is a limit to the number they will accept each year. Unless your going to the ski hills, where you can also ride the gondola up! What a glorious way to share your commitment for the rest of your life to your Lover.
I go into great detail in that blog post about Banff so I will leave those details for you to find there.
Osoyoos
An unexpected place to elope would be Osoyoos, due to its unique pocket desert, and warm hot weather, if your dream was a destination wedding abroad to mexico, but thats out of your price range, then Osoyoos is sure fire way to make those warm balmy wedding summer nights come true. I highly recommend getting a campsite at an RV lot or campground and setting up at a beautiful beach around some of the hotspot lakes. You may need to get a permit however so do look into this with the city and see if you can get permission to have a small intimate ceremony on the beach. Chances are a weekday would be the easiest way to have a crowd free audience, and the privacy your looking for more towards spring time, which would have the warmest climate in BC for that time of the year.
Another added bonus is in Osoyoos is a plethora of winerys, and vineyards to get your reception held at, and enjoy the nice tasting local wines made on the property of your reception venue.
Usually wineries are quite the hit, for reception venues, as the cheap wine discounts make for a fun time! Would you like some... Oh wait, say Cheese!
