My passion for capturing love stories began with a journey around the globe, experiencing the many shades of romance and discovering that love is as diverse and vibrant as the world itself.

Since 2012, I’ve been lucky to photograph and film weddings in breathtaking locations from Vancouver to Palm Springs, Mexico, and Australia.

My style blends timeless elegance with a cinematic flair, creating bold, contrast-rich images and enchanting nighttime portraits. Whether it’s the golden hour glow or the magic of evening lights, I specialize in capturing moments that are both cinematic and deeply personal.

I start by getting to know your love story and what makes your day unique. With complimentary pre-wedding consultations and engagement sessions, I ensure we’re perfectly in sync. On your wedding day, I capture every magical moment with a mix of candid, spontaneous shots and thoughtfully guided portraits, making sure your experience is as relaxed and joyful as possible.

Beyond weddings, I offer prints, online galleries, and even adventurous trash-the-dress sessions. As a hybrid shooter, I capture both photos and videos simultaneously, often with drones, to ensure no moment goes unnoticed. My clients appreciate my enthusiastic, creative approach and the genuine, beautiful moments I capture.

FAQ

What inspired you to become a wedding photographer/videographer?

I spent my life, knowing some form of love was missing. I travelled the world to find it, living vicariously through other couples, to learn what love looks like in all its wild forms, thats how I came up with the name Wild Love. I had to travel the world and experience many peoples different kinds of love, to truely understand what love is all about. I used to be obsessed with dating stories, and love stories, and hoping my besties would all find their fairytale husbands, and have their fairytale wedding... Also small confession, I spent a bit of my time wedding planning so to speak, while also building my wedding business, taking inspiration along my journey, hoping one day I will also get my fairytale wedding day. I was also a bit obsessed with the movie The Wedding Planner, and often thought, maybe the best place to find a hubby, is on a wedding day? Surely, all the good guys, have a single friend out there somewhere on a wedding day?

How many years have you been in the wedding industry?

I have been photographing and filming weddings since 2012, I started in Vancouver, made my way to palm springs, and eventually mexico, and Australia. I have travelled to more places, but those are the locations I have shot weddings.

What’s your approach or style when capturing weddings?

I always aim to capture the typical traditional photographs, and the bride and grooms photo request list, but I often approach the wedding day with a more curated style, think editorial meets hollywood. I really love bold contrast photos, and night time portraits with off camera flash and magical elements like sparklers and fireworks. I tend to guide my couples into prompts that create beautiful candid images, instead of posing couples and taking shots of still couples. A bit of movement makes natural authentic expressions, and more relaxed approach for the people being photographed, really helps get rid of the jitters. A bit of comedy and some punny jokes help too!

Can you describe your process for working with couples?

I usually like to meet with clients and be sure we are a good fit together first, then i take into considerations whats most important to them about their wedding day, as well as pieces of their love story so i can incorporate that into the wedding photos. Usually we will do an engagement session together to trial my services, and make sure they get normal couples portraits without the wedding dress and suits. On the wedding day, I show up during the getting ready process, and start capturing all the details and curating cute moments for getting ready with the bride and groom side. Often I will swap between rooms, to capture them both at different times. Then during the ceremony, I meet them at the end of the aisle, ready to capture the bride coming down. Post ceremony we will set up a big group photo, and then aim to get family portraits, and then bridal party, and then for sunset, we will get the couples bridal portraits done, and off to the reception. During the reception, everything is documentary style and candid photos. The only posed portion of the day is the bridal and bridal party portraits! After the wedding I say goodbye, and give a run down on expectations of how long the photos will be, and then expect to hear from me a week later with some sneak peek content! Usually I send all my content digitally after the wedding day, so we often do not meet again!! This is why I love offering family and newborn and boudoir sessions, so we can get together again and have more fun! "
5.What is your favorite part of a wedding day to capture? "Night time especially, and golden hour. When the lights turn on, and the sun goes down, everything gets that extra glimmer to it, that ambience, and the candles start to glow, the neon signs kick in, and the dj lights cast amongst the fog, everything is a photographers fairytale! Especially for an off camera flash master like me

Do you offer any pre-wedding consultations or engagement shoots?

Yes I do, and offer them free with every wedding booking, if they pay the full deposit, and I always do a video or phone consult for free prior to booking if a couple wants to chat first and get to know eachother.

What kind of equipment and technology do you use?

I use Nikon Dslr Full frame camera 24megapixel camera, with a 18-55mm, 50mm, and 10-20mm, 75-200mm, and a wireless flash system, as well as tripods, umbrella lighting for nighttime video, ring lights for creative LED type long exposures, and light stands for off camera flash around the reception room. I also use a DJI wireless microphone system that hides on the bride and groom for seamless audio content. I also have a little Nikon 360 camera for full virtual reality experiences.

How do you ensure that you capture the unique essence of each couple’s wedding?

I always consider the colour schemes, the editing style, and the type of personality of the couple, some couples are more fun and more serious, and that reflects in the photos and the experience I give. Sometimes just in how I direct or capture the day, can change how the couple express themselves, so I am always adapting to maintain consistency with the couples love story and their mood.

Do you have a question?

Vix ut utinam feugait. Eu scribentur liberavisse nec. Dico fugit nostro cu pri, no putent nemore mel, ius at minim molestiae

Do you offer any additional services or products, like photo albums or highlight reels?

I also do Bridal Boudoir sessions, and Trash the dress sessions, or Adventure elopement sessions.

I offer prints from the website, and online gallery hosting for you to send the link to your guests so they can download the images and order prints too. Along with weddings I also shoot newborn and family sessions, as well as business headshots, events and birthdays, and festivals!

Can you share a memorable experience or a special story from a wedding you’ve worked on?

I remember one of my first weddings ever, the lady that caught the bouquet, also hired me to photograph her wedding the year after, she was best friends with the bride. I will never forget the wedding tradition that I actually got to witness, and photograph come true! Another one, At the end of the wedding night in mexico, at an all inclusive resort, the pools closed down but that didnt stop the bridal party, they all were game to jump into the pool fully clothed in their wedding attire for some epic photos and a big splash send off before bed! Another fun one, in newfoundland, they have a traditional for new people to the island, they perform the newfoundland screech, called getting "screeched-in" which required all the wedding guests to take a screecher shot, and some sweets, a piece of bologna, and kiss a cod, and say the newfoundland infamous saying, and get dubbed with a kayak paddle, while wearing a fishing hat and funny glasses.. The couple also paraded around the town sitting in the back of a truck, waving at the neighbourhood on the island honking and having drinks before heading to reception.

How do you work with other vendors to make sure everything goes smoothly?

I always capture content of other vendors, and get their details to send them photos and videos of their work. When it comes to videographers and photographers, I always let them take the lead, and ask on occasion to trade off on a nice moment, and redo the moment again for my camera. This ensures no one is fighting to get the shot. And I always make video a priority, as you cant redo important video moments like you can with photos. I always do my best to stay out of the way of the film camera, so I am not in any of the shots. Also with the Dj, I always check in about the schedule, and the Officiant, I am always introducing myself to ensure we work together during the kiss moment, so they arent in the shot. I also always ask the Priest if flash is ok, and what distance parameters are required during church ceremonies.

What can couples expect in terms of turnaround time for their photos and videos?

I usually take 2 months for turn around for videos, and 2 weeks for photos.

What sets you apart from other wedding photographers/videographers?

I am a very bubbly, eager, creative photographer, that also shoots video at the same time as photos. This makes me a hybrid shooter, and I shoot everything on 3 or 4 cameras. I also can offer drone as well! I really love to spend extra time on the bridal portraits, and adore taking candid photos, I call it Smile Hunting, through the lens, I also love to use cool techniques with off camera flash, and sparklers and long exposures and night time photos with fairy-lights and stars are my specialty.
