This delightful tradition involves letting the little ones dig into a colorful, beautifully decorated cake, creating a delightful mess and capturing their genuine reactions of joy and curiosity. As a photographer, documenting cake smashes has become one of my favorite experiences. Through my lens, I am able to capture the sheer happiness, messiness, and pure delight of these milestone moments.

Or we can do a shoot prior and just get a cute family session that same day!! I recommend doing the cake smash after, so that the child has had its calm moments during the family photoshoot, and explored a bit outside, to then wind down a bit, eat some cake, and have the sugar rush flood them with more excitement!!
